FA Cup: I am not looking for revenge – Mourinho insists ahead of Chelsea tie

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, had told the BBC that he is not looking for revenge, when he takes his team to Chelsea for a FA Cup quarter-final clash on Monday.

Recall that Mourinho’s first trip to Stamford Bridge as United boss, ended in a 4-0 defeat last October.

“I’m not looking for revenge. I’m not looking for anything wrong or bad,” he told the Football Focus programme.

“If it’s different [playing Chelsea], it’s different in a positive way.”

The Portuguese also appeared to take a dig at Antonio Conte’s tactical style.

“I’m not surprised [by the success]. I’m surprised with the way they play.

“I’m surprised because I thought they were demanding a different kind of football.

“I think they are very good defensively and I think they have fantastic players to be a counter-attack team and to kill opponents with three or four players.”

On Friday, Conte warned Mourinho that his mind games won’t win him matches .
