Mum Of Baby Battling Terminal Cancer Appeals To Ed Sheeran To Write Song For Dying Son

The mum of a baby boy battling terminal cancer has asked Ed Sheeran to write a song for her dying son.

Sheryl Blanksby and husband Jon were left devastated when doctors broke the news that there was nothing more they could do for four-month-old Thomas.

The family’s plight hit the headlines last week when Sheryl shared a heartbreaking photograph of baby Thomas being cradled by his big brother who told him: “I’m here, everything is ok.”

Despite being shattered by the news, the family are now on a mission to make the most of the precious time they have left with the tot.

Brave Sheryl has now appealed to singer Ed Sheeran to write a song for her son.

She tweeted at the star: “Hi @edsheeran, long shot but here it goes, would you write a song for my Thomas? #prettyplease”
